About Two Lads Winery

Two Lads winery is a 10,500 square foot facility located on 58 acres on the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, Michigan. We currently have 13 acres of established vineyards and an additional 9 acres that were planted in May.

Our multi-level facility uses gravity-flow techniques to transport the juice and wine throughout processing, racking and aging. The gravity-flow process saves energy, reduces noise, and is a far more gentle way to process the juice and wine. When you run wine or juice through a pump or filter, you can break up many of the desirable compounds that are forming in the wine while it ages. The aromatics, flavors and colors are all delicate elements in young wines. When you manipulate and handle wine too much or too roughly, you lose little bits of all three of these components.
