The warm growing season of 2010 was great for our red grape varieties. We were able to pick earlier than we have in the past (mid-October instead of early November) but were still able to achieve the ripeness we desire that leads to a bolder wine in the glass. We blended our Cab Franc and Merlot again as well (55% Cab Franc/45% Merlot), creating a fuller bodied wine with a long silky finish. Yet again, this wine holds true to our bold-style of red wine and can be enjoyed now or allowed to age in the bottle until an estimated peak at 2015.
