Great wine isn’t just about aroma and flavor; it’s about the texture, too. Take your pick from any of the adjectives that get used to describe the mouthfeel of great Pinot Noir – silky, rich, supple – and our 2018 vintage showcases them in abundance. Yes, there’s bright red fruit, dusty cocoa, and savory goodness to be sure, but this one’s all about ensconcing yourself in liquid velvet.
Pinot Noir was planted on the 2 Lads farm in the Spring of 2008. We chose five different clones for our vineyard because of their ability to grow in our cool northern Michigan climate. When blended together they all bring something different to the wine, allowing for a more complex expression of flavor.
