Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Ripe gooseberry, cut grass, white peach, elder flower, and struck flint aromas. Textured mouthfeel with Meyer lemon curd, white peach, grapefruit on the palate. Soft mid-palate with lip smacking acidity. Incredibly reminiscent of Sancerre.
Vineyard Notes
Sourced exclusively from the Three Little Bears vineyard on Old Mission peninsula.
Winemaker Notes
Settled for 48 hours and racked to a neutral oak tank for fermentation. After fermentation, racked on gross lees to a blend of used French oak and acacia barrels for aging. No malolactic fermentation.
Food Pairing Notes
Spanikopita, grilled trout, garlic shrimp, goat cheese tarts, salt and pepper tofu, grilled Romine salad, fresh oysters with mignonette.
