some neutral oak
Off dry. Soft, creamy mousse. Candied Meyer lemon peel, Asian pear, Granny Smith apple, and lemon sherbet followed by fresh bread. Autolysis shows on finish. Finish is long, soft, and creamy with a hint of sweetness.
73% Chardonnay, 22% Pinot Gris, 5% Pinot Noir
About 33% of this blend was fermented in in neutral French oak. That portion was racked to tank in February 2022 and composited with the remainder, which was aged in stainless steel until being bottled in April 2022.
