Located on the highest point of Old Mission Peninsula, the Stone House Vineyard gets a great deal of sunlight and wind movement which leads to a greater concentration of flavor. It was a cool spring followed by an average to warm summer, and fall rains came early. The canopy had started to turn golden, but was still healthy during harvest. About 20-25% of the fruit showed signs of botrytis.
