Tasting Notes
Wonderfully concentrated and bright - everything you'd ever want in a dry Riesling. The nose shows equal parts delicate floral and flinty, mineral aromatics; the palate offers up bright grapefruit and Mandarin orange. It's crisp, mouth-watering, and the perfect compliment to any of your favorite summertime cuisine.
Vineyard Notes
This Riesling is a fantastic example of "minimal impact" winemaking designed to showcase the grape and where it's grown. The Stone House vineyard sits atop the highest point of elevation on Old Mission peninsula and as such receives generous amounts of sunlight and wind - both of which contribute to the development clean, high quality fruit with great flavor concentration.
Production Notes
Following harvest, the fruit was hand sorted and immediately pressed to tank for cold settling. The juice was racked off the lees five days later. Fermentation took 30 days to complete in our cool cellar.
