Tasting Notes
BIG! Everything about our 2022 Rosé of Pinot Gris is BIG. The color is BIG like a summer sunset. The aromatics are BIG - think fleshy, juicy pink grapefruit right off the tree. The flavors are BIG and the texture, polished to perfection by a short time in oak, is - wait for it! - BIG. You'll want a BIG glass to contain it all.
Production Notes
Following harvest the grape clusters were hand sorted, crushed, destemmed, and put into open top tanks to soak. After three days they were gently pressed into a stainless steel tank to settle, then racked into oak barrels to ferment. Fermentation concluded in 2 weeks, and the wine rested in oak for another 6 weeks before being moved into stainless steel for further aging.
