Spritzy, cocktail-esque fun in a glass! Brightly fruity, medium bodied, with a crisp, clean finish.
Winemaker Notes
Our first vintage working Saperavi, a grape originally indigenous to the Republic of Georgia. Following harvest the grapes were gently pressed; due to the pink flesh of the berry the juice is very dark at the onset of fermentation. The juice was settled and fermented for 10 days in one of our 640 gallon neutral oak foudres, then racked into stainless steel for blending and filtration. This wine was finished frizzante (semi-sparkling).
